Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language abilities, including articulation, fluency, voice, and comprehension.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders and strategies for improvement.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Current Pennsylvania Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
